Sunshine Coast Paddlers is a group of people dedicated to the sport of downwind ocean paddling. Kirk Jarrott and Shane Dalziel have over 40 years experience there's much knowledge to share. The group is open to all forms of ocean paddling craft with majority being fibreglass, carbon, Kevlar etc. ocean racing surf skis. We have a passion for fast ocean wind assisted paddling and like to take full advantage of the wind and conditions.

We run regular downwind ocean paddles with various craft leaving the beach at allocated times, attempting to finish together. These paddles are posted on SCP facebook site.

Sunshine Coast Paddler supports and participates in national and international ocean paddling events and is a site for news, photos and information. Sunshine Coast paddlers is founder and directors of the King of the Coast which is now a part of the Australian Ocean Racing Series.

Sunshine Coast Paddlers and the King of the Coast event are proud to be associated with the Sunshine Coast Therapy Centre and raise funds to continue their incredible work.
